All over Texas, the U.S. Israel, Kuwait, Amsterdam. There was a time when my husband and I were really into cruises. In 2009 or 2010 while living in Kuwait I entered the Harper"s Bazaar Magazine for the Middle East female artist contest. I probably created 15 watercolors, framed and ready for sale in two weeks. Though they didn"t select me it was fun doing painting again and getting the hair/make-up professionally done for the photographer. This was actually when I started really painting again. I"ve had a painter"s block for about 8 years. My art used to be very dark and depressed, as was my life at times. Reflections of my happiness and spirituality are obvious in my art now. Going to a football game, baseball game, rugby game, soccer game or hockey game is always fun. If you can"t attend a game in person the next best thing is to hang out and drink your favorite beer at a sports bar. There are some really upscale bars or neighborhood bars depending upon your style. If you are not much of a spectator why not spend some time at a recreation center or club playing your favorite sport, or get some friends together and set up a softball, basketball, volleyball, a round of golf or a tennis match with a BBQ afterwards. Opting for a pity party on the couch with a month"s supply of potato chips because you missed working out this week? Or because you gained a few pounds? Really? Get up! Do something! Even if it"s 10 squats (or deep knee bends, if "squats" sounds like too much work), do something. March in place. Move your spine. Put a little Elvis in that pelvis. Smile. You"re getting better now. WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his meeting with the Democratic People"s Republic of Korea (DPRK)"s top leader, Kim Jong-un, "will absolutely happen."
The summit scheduled for June 12 in Singapore "could very well happen," Trump told the media before departing to New York at the White House"s South Lawn.
"Someday a date will happen. It could very well be June 12th," he said. "We"ll know next week."
He added that it "will be a great thing" for the DPRK if the meeting comes true.
A day earlier, Trump hinted that his scheduled meeting with Kim may be delayed.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said earlier on Wednesday that China expects the Trump-Kim summit will go smoothly with positive outcomes.
"We have always been encouraging and supporting the US and the DPRK to accumulate mutual trust through direct dialogue," he said. "We hope that all the relevant sides, particularly the DPRK and the US, will seize the opportunity, meet each other halfway, suppress interference and address each other"s concerns in a balanced way."
Troy Stangarone, senior director of congressional affairs and trade at the Washington-based non-profit Korea Economic Institute, said that "real progress on these issues will take time, both in terms of building the trust and confidence between the United States and North Korea to be successful, but also in terms of working through the mechanics of denuclearization."
